We inform you that a new consolidated text of the Value Added Tax (VAT) Act has been published. The document is available for review in the Journal of Laws. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with the current regulations.
Starting from 2024, the sale of clothing and shoes for children will be taxed at a 5% VAT rate. This change is included in the draft law on reducing bureaucracy and legal barriers; currently, the VAT rate on these goods is 23%.
As a result of the changes, spouses pay a tax rate of 12.5% on their combined income only once it reaches a total of 200,000 PLN, rather than 100,000 PLN as it was before.
